The Guardians of the Garden is a lovely picture book that captures the essence of summer joy and the playful spirit of children.

Launched on the 31st of July, 2023, the story revolves around two kids who take on the responsibility of safeguarding their mother’s garden from pesky critters that have an eye for their delicious fruits and vegetables. Among their adversaries, the squirrels prove to be the most clever tricksters of all, making the children’s mission even more exciting.

The book’s tone is lighthearted and whimsical, bringing to life a scenario that closely mirrors the real experiences of the author’s own family and that many readers can relate to. The narrative reflects the beauty of familial bonds and the joy of spending time together in the great outdoors.

The Guardians of the Garden is available in three different editions: kindle, paperback and a deluxe hardcover option on the author’s website Hank a Roo Readings.
